Usage notes
Precisely speaking, vesicular and intravesicular things are different from vesical and intravesical things, because a vesicle (a vesicula) is different from a vesica—it is a diminutive counterpart, as a blister on the skin, or an organelle inside a cell, is smaller than a urinary bladder or a gallbladder. This is why referring to intravesical chemotherapy as "intravesicular chemotherapy" is subtly misspoken; but the infelicity is subtle enough that no misunderstanding is likely and many readers will not think twice about the mischosen word.
