Yoon Tae-goo: [Lies seemingly dead in the desert after the shoot-out, then slowly gets up, grunting in pain, and begins to limp over to the dead Chang-yi before stopping for a moment] Why am I so heavy?

[Slides a thick sheet of metal out from under his vest and tosses it aside, before continuing his limp over to Chang-yi. We then see him stuff the corpse with dynamite]

Yoon Tae-goo: Never thought the past would come back to haunt me. Forget everything, man. You're goin' to hell anyways. This is for your trip there. Coming all this way for nothing. God damn it.

[He tries to fit a stick of dynamite into Chang-yi's pocket and finds a small bag of diamonds blocking it. He giggles with delight before noticing the Japanese army surrounding him. He quickly threatens them with a stick of dynamite, not realizing he actually lit it. One Japanese soldier notices and backs away in horror]

Japanese Soldier: Damn Korean! Retreat! Retreat!

Yoon Tae-goo: [Slowly realises he lit the dynamite before trying to put it out and that another stick has caught fire] Damn luck! Shit!

[Ducks for cover]

Park Do-won: [a captured Tae-goo runs past Do-Won as he's trying to escape] Are you going somewhere? Escaping?

Yoon Tae-goo: No, of course not. just gave the rope a tug and it fell out. You folks shouldn't be so careless.

Park Do-won: Fine. Just go back in and sleep, then.

Park Do-won: You. Run to the other side so I can see where they're shooting from.

Yoon Tae-goo: [Glances cautiously past Do-won] Why should I be the one?

Park Do-won: Then who else?

Yoon Tae-goo: [We follow Tae-goo as he moves past to Do-won's other side. He looks over the side of the house at the gunmen] Should I run straight on, or zigzag around and make 'em confused?

[Do-won just stares at him]

Yoon Tae-goo: Fine, I'll decide.

Yoon Tae-goo: [Lies in his hotel bed and wonders about the map he stole] What in the world is this?... Russia... Border... Treasure... Absolutely no idea...

Park Do-won: This map... I don't believe in it. But if it's for real and someone asks what my dream is, I'd say...

Yoon Tae-goo: *Z*

Park Do-won: You asleep?

[Indeed he is. Do-won doesn't bother talking anymore]

Yoon Tae-goo: I'll tell ya, since we're in this together. If we find a big treasure there, whatever it may be, you know what I'll do with it? You wanna know what my dream is? I'm going back home, and buying me some land. I'll build a house, raise some cows, horses, and sheep.

Park Do-won: That's it?

Yoon Tae-goo: And some dogs and chickens, too.

Park Do-won: Anything else besides buying land and raising livestock?

Yoon Tae-goo: I never really thought beyond that.

Yoon Tae-goo: [shoots open the lid of a metal can and looks inside] What's that smell? Is the treasure rotting?

Yoon Tae-goo: That's it? That's all? Killing us to fill the void in your life? That's just stupid. You moron! Why the hell did you chase me all the way out here?

Park Chang-yi: To find out who's the best!

Yoon Tae-goo: You be the best! I don't care! Tell people I lost. I don't give a damn! If that's your reason for living, mine's finding the treasure! We don't see eye to eye, man. Got that? So, see ya.
