[the Ramones pull up to the high school, where Principal Togar is burning rock and roll albums, and get out of their car]

Miss Togar: And just what do you have to say for yourself, young lady?

Riff: I've seen the errors of my ways. I'd just like to say to all students everywhere that you may think the school is yours for a while, but it's always run by the principal and her administration.

Miss Togar: [to the police and parents] Oh, that's nice.

Riff: Vince Lombardi High is your school, Miss Togar. So you can have it.

Miss Togar: [gloating] Well, I'm very happy to see that you've come to your senses. And what would you have done with the school, anyway?

Lieutenant Schrank: [as they exit] Say goodbye to the nice boys, Krupke.

Snowboy: [mimicking Krupke] "Goodbye, boys."

Snowboy: "Go play in the park!"

[the Jets dance across the streets of New York, eventually coming to a playground where they toss around a basketball. The ball is intercepted by Bernardo, leader of the Sharks]

Riff: [snaps fingers at Bernardo] Come on.

[Bernardo drops the ball, Riff picks it up]

Riff: Beat it.

Riff: Come on, Jets, round out! Not you, Anybodys, beat it.

Anybodys, Tomboy: Ah, Riff, you gotta let me in the gang! Didn't you just see me, I was smash, I'm a killer, I wanna fight!

A-Rab: How else's she gonna get a guy to touch her?

Anybodys, Tomboy: You dirty rat!
