Paris Quotes:

  • Paris: What would you do to someone... who decided to fuck with you in your own house?

    Cisco: I'd bust some caps!

Paris: Bust some caps! Give this man a gold star.

  • Paris: Do you love me, brother? Will you protect me from any enemy?

Hector: Last time you spoke to me like this, you were 10 years old and you'd just stolen Father's horse. What have you done now?

  • Agamemnon: I see you're not hiding behind your high walls. Valiant of you. Ill-advised, but valiant.

Hector: You come here uninvited. Go back to your ships and go home.

Agamemnon: We've come too far, Prince Hector.

Menelaus: Prince? What prince? What son of a king would accept a man's hospitality, eat his food, drink his wine, embrace him in friendship, and then steal his wife in the middle of the night?

Paris: The sun was shining when your wife left you.

Menelaus: She's up there, watching, isn't she? Good. I want her to watch you die.

Agamemnon: Not yet, brother. Look around you, Hector. I brought all the warriors of Greece to your shores.

Nestor: You can still save Troy, young prince.

Agamemnon: I have two wishes. If you grant them, no more of your people need die. First, you must give Helen back to my brother. Second, Troy must submit to my command, to fight for me whenever I call.

Hector: You want me to look upon your army and tremble? Well I see them. I see 50,000 men brought here to fight for one man's greed.

Agamemnon: Careful boy, my mercy has limits.

Hector: And I've seen the limits of your mercy and I tell you now, no son of Troy will ever submit to a foreign ruler.

Agamemnon: Then every son of Troy shall die.

  • Paris: Pearls from the sea of Propontus.

Helen: They're beautiful, but I could never wear them, Menelaus would kill us both.

Paris: Don't be afraid of him.

Helen: I'm not afraid of dying, I'm afraid of tomorrow. I'm afraid of watching you sail away and knowing you'll never come back. Before you came to Sparta, I was a ghost. I walked and I ate and I swam in the sea... I was just a ghost.

Paris: You don't have to fear tomorrow... come with me!

Helen: Don't play with me, don't play.

Paris: If you come, we'll never be safe. Men will hunt us, the gods will curse us, but I'll love you. Until the day they burn my body, I'll love you.

  • Helen: You should not have come here tonight.

Paris: That's what you said last night?

Helen: Last night was a mistake.

    Paris: And the night before?

Helen: I have made many mistakes this week.

  • Priam: [about Helen] Do you love her, my son?

Paris: Father, you are a great king, because you love your country so much. Every blade of grass, every grain of sand, every rock in the river... You love all of Troy. That is the way I love Helen.

  • Paris: [discussing the wooden horse] Father, burn it.

  • [from director's cut]

Helen: You're very young, my love.

    Paris: We're the same age.

Helen: You're younger than I ever was.

  • Paris: [to Helen] Then I'll make it easy for him to find me. I'll walk right up to him and tell him you're mine.

  • Paris: Father, this is Helen.

    Priam: Helen? Helen of Sparta?

    Paris: Helen of Troy.

  • Paris: Forgive me Helen. You are two women. Both wise and good. I am two men, one fairly good, I try to believe - the other very bad indeed.

Helen: One is a man, the other just a boy I think. Paris, let him be so always. Never let him grow old.

  • Priam: Arise, Paris. And go.

High Priest: The virgin Cassandra does make one point that causes me much concern. Prince Paris, it appears, gives all his worship to one goddess alone, Aphrodite.

Paris: I'm not sure I worship anything. Now, admiration is the better word. Admiration for the beauty of a marble image.

  • Aeneas: To think deeply, Paris, one must think of women. They bring all life into the world and much death. They sway the destinies of men.

    Paris: Not my destiny.

  • Paris: You should be in bed.

Andraste: Oh, yes, I should. But...

Paris: But, your mistress has sent you to play another trick on me. Hmm?

  • Paris: It was just a foolish hope. I half imagined she'd come.

  • Paris: I didn't really expect her to come, I only hoped.

  • Paris: For the Queen, tell her she'll walk in all my dreams.

  • Helen: The Gods sometimes change the bravest of intentions.

Paris: They are kind. I'll never doubt them again.

  • Helen: This is not goodbye. You shall still be with me across the sea.

    Paris: And you with me.

Helen: And always young, Paris, remember. What is remembered is forever young.

  • Paris: Sparta is the past, Helen, Troy is this way.

Helen: What will they call us there? A woman who left her husband and Prince turned thief. What else can we ever be?

Paris: Two people in love, against the world, if need be.

  • Paris: Forgive me. I forget you are a woman - not a Goddess.

  • Paris: Hector, where is my place?

    Hector: Besides your Spartan woman.

  • Paris: Helen, how perfect.

Helen: The girl you fell in love with? Always keep that image with you, Paris.

Paris: I shan't need to. I have the source of its magic. Right here I hold its living warmth and its spirit is always with me on the ramparts.

Helen: Then it can't be lost, can it? What has been lived and shared is never lost.

    Paris: Never, Helen.

  • Paris: There is no escape it seems. Not even from happiness.

Helen: No. And I am happy, very happy.

  • Paris: For a moment I thought - that you were that little slave girl.

Helen: Oh, I am. Whatever your love wishes me to be. Whatever is in your heart.

    Paris: You are my heart.

  • Paris: Oh Goddess come to Earth. Make me a mortal with your kiss and we'll live on nectar and ambrosia...

    [kiss]

Paris: ... But I am not sure I like being so ethereal.

  • Kate Newman: What we need to know is, can they order an American to "disappear" without consulting the Americans first?

    Paris: No, they wouldn't dare.

Ed Horman: How can I verify that?

    Paris: You can't.

  • Paris: It's what I want to do.

    Mana-Yiayia: [knowingly] But it's not.

  • Ian: Honey, by the way, we think you should go to college out of state.

    Toula: Uh-huh.

Maria: What is that, reverse psychology?

[Smiles on Toula and Ian's face vanishes]

    Athena: That never works.

    Maria: That never works.

    Paris: That never works.

  • Paris: Paris P. Olgilvie. Antiquities dealer, entrepreneur.

Riddick: Richard B. Riddick. Escaped convict. Murderer.

  • Jack: [sneaks up on Paris and puts a sharp bone up to his throat] He'd probably get you here, right here, under the chin, and you'd never even hear him. That's how good Riddick is!

Paris: Tell me, did you run away from your parents, or did they run away from you?

  • Paris: [talking about Jack after she shaved her head and has goggles on] It's the winner of the look alike contest.

  • Zeke: Comfy up there?

Paris: Amazing how you can do without the essentials of life, so long as you have the little luxuries.

  • Johns: Zeke, fully-loaded clip. Safety's on. One shot if you spot him, okay?

Zeke: Don't tell me you're going off too.

    Johns: Yeah.

Paris: But what happens if Mr. Riddick spots us first?

Johns: [grinning] There will be no shots.

  • Paris: People, just a suggestion. Perhaps you should *flee*!

  • Paris: [his last lines] I was supposed to die in France. I never even saw France.

  • Paris: Is anybody else having trouble breathing?

Shazza: Yeah. I feel one lung short.

  • Rhodes: You got a name?

    Paris: Paris.

Rhodes: Paris, huh? I'll get it.

    [Gets chips from vending machine]

    Rhodes: Never been.

Paris: Well, you ain't goin' tonight.

  • Paris: Where did you go before? What did you see? What? Tell me what you saw.

Ed: I saw you... I saw you in an orange grove.

  • Paris: That's not possible. I was standing right there. I saw what happened. We all saw what happened.

  • Paris: You're a complicated cat, Edward.

  • Larry: It's your birthday next week? It's my birthday next week. The 10th.

    Paris: Me too.

    Rhodes: Me too.

    Ed: Yeah.

  • Paris: I give up. HEY. I GIVE UP. WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT? WHAT DO YOU WANT, YOU SICK BASTARD? What the fuck do you want from us? I am turning thirty next week, and I just want to go home, and grow oranges.

  • Paris: Where in Florida Larry? Where in Florida?

    Larry: Polk County.

Paris: That's where I was born. Which town?

    Larry: Mulberry.

    Paris: [points to herself] Frostproof.

    Larry: No wonder you left.

  • Paris: [Ed is taking evidence photos] Where were you a cop?

    Ed: Los Angeles.

Paris: Were you fired or did you quit?

Ed: I took medical leave. It was making me sick. I burned out, I guess. Wasn't up for it. One day, I got a call for a jumper. A young Mexican girl. Pregnant, infected with AIDS, totally strung-out. She was truly one of the doomed. And I asked her to come in off the ledge and into my arms. She asked me why she should bother living.

    Paris: What did you say?

Ed: Well I was trained to tell her lots of things. Her dreams and all the people who'd miss her. But for a second, I hesitated. And she saw it. Within that second, I couldn't think of honestly one optimistic thing to say to her. So she spread her arms and jumped. I started getting headaches, and eventually started blacking out. So I filed for medical.

  • Larry: I'm sor- we don't rent rooms by the hour.

    Paris: [Sarcastic] Oh. Funny.
