Odin: Yes.

Loki: Why? You were knee-deep in Jotun blood. Why would you take me?

Odin: You were an innocent child.

Loki: [hanging from the edge of the Bifrost] I could have done it, Father! I could have done it! For you! For all of us!

Odin: No, Loki.

Odin: You'll be a wise king.

Odin: [enchants Mjolnir] Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of THOR!

[hurls Mjolnir after Thor]

Odin: Once, mankind accepted a simple truth: that they were not alone in this universe. Some worlds man believed home to their Gods. Others they knew to fear. [walks off, his sons run after him]

[about the burglary]

Thor: The Jotuns must pay for what they have done!

Odin: They have paid, with their lives. The Destroyer did its work, the Casket is safe, and all is well.

Thor: All is well? They broke into the weapons vault! If the Frost Giants have stolen even one of these relics...

Odin: They didn't.

Thor: Well I want to know why!

Odin: I have a truce with Laufey, king of the Jotuns.

Thor: He just broke your truce! They know you are vulnerable!

Odin: What action would you take?

Thor: March into Jotunheim as you once did! Teach them a lesson! Break their spirits, so they would never dare try to cross our borders again!

Odin: You're thinking only as a warrior.

Thor: This was an act of war!

Odin: It was the act of but a few, doomed to fail.

Thor: There won't be a kingdom to protect if you're afraid to act! The Jotuns must fear me, just as they once feared you!

Odin: Have you forgotten everything I taught you? A warrior's patient!

Thor: While you wait and be patient, the Nine Worlds laugh at us! The old ways are done, yet you stand and give speeches while Asgard falls!

King Laufey: Allfather. You look weary.

Odin: Laufey. End this now!

King Laufey: Your boy sought this out.

Odin: You're right. But these were the actions of a boy, treat them as such. We can end this together, here, now, without any more blood shed.

King Laufey: We are beyond diplomacy now, Allfather. You'll get what he came for: war, and death.

Odin: So be it!

[Odin appears in Jotunheim]

Thor: Father, we'll finish them together!

Odin: SILENCE!

[from trailer]

Odin: I have sacrificed much to achieve peace. So too must a new generation sacrifice to maintain that peace. Responsibility! Duty! Honour! These are not mere virtues to which we must aspire! They are essential to every soldier, to every king!

Odin: If I were proud of the man my son has become, even that I could not say, it would speak only from my heart. Go, my son.

Loki: [appears from Odin's guise] No... thank you.

Odin: She does not belong here in Asgard any more than a goat belongs at a banquet table!

Jane Foster: Did he just...?

Jane Foster: Who do you think you are?

Odin: I am Odin. King of Asgard. Protector of the Nine Realms.

Jane Foster: [chastened] Oh. Well I'm...

Odin: I know very well who you are, Jane Foster.

Jane Foster: [to Thor] You told your dad about me?

Loki: [mockingly comes to attention before Odin and laughs] I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

Odin: Do you not truly feel the gravity of your crimes? Wherever you go there is war, ruin and death!

Loki: I went down to Midgard to rule the people of Earth as a benevolent God, just like you.

Odin: We are not gods! We're born, we live, we die, just as humans do.

Thor: What makes you so different from Malekith, then?

Odin: [mirthless laugh] The difference, my son, is that I will WIN.

Odin: Her world has its healers. They are called doctors, let them deal with it!

[Julie, Odin, and Zeek need to cross the lava river]

Chartog: [to Julie] I am Chartog, guardian of the river. I know the way across, and I will tell you. You just have to...

[Chuckles pervertedly]

Chartog: ... kiss me.

Julie: Ugh... No way!

[slugs Chartog and knocks him into the lava river]

Odin: [disturbed] Your people have strange customs.

[Julie steps onto the boat]

Julie: [huffs] Tell me about it.

Julie: [after killing Tyler] Now we must destroy the key.

Odin: Perhaps, perhaps not!

[strikes Julie with a whip]

Julie: [stunned] O-Odin, why?

Odin: I am Arakacian! My charade fooled the insufferable Holy Landers and even that little stone idiot! What makes you think a pathetic mortal can stop me?

Odin: [possessing the shopkeeper] Fool! What in Helveti were you about to do to this shopkeep?

Odin: Fool! Don't lie to me! You know Thor never gave me this kind of trouble.

Loki: Here we go again with the Thor crap.

Odin: As expected, you've failed at your promise. You've failed at your quest. You are, in ever sense of the word, a failure.

Tim Avery: [to Tanya] Wow, and I thought your dad was mean.

Loki: Hey, we both knew it was gonna end this way, right? You practically set me up for failure, so at least I'm living up to your expectation in that regard.

Odin: Silence!

Odin: My life is over, that's it. But while all ya'll are out here livin' yours, sitting around talking about the nigger who lost it back in high school, you make sure you tell them the truth. You tell them I loved that girl! I did! But I got played!

[Points to Hugo]

Odin: He twisted my head up. He fucked it up. I ain't no different than none of ya'll. My mom's ain't no crack head. I wasn't no gang banger. It wasn't some hood rat drug dealer that tripped me up. It was this white, prep school motherfucker standing right there! You tell them where I'm from... didn't make me do this.

[Shoots himself in the chest, collapses]

Odin: Where is my scarf?

Desi: I don't know.

Odin: You lost it?

Desi: No, I just misplaced it!

Odin: Does Michael know where my scarf is?

Desi: What? If you're asking me if I'm cheating on you, get some balls and ask! Michael? You're the only person I've ever been with and you're the only person I want to be with! And if you want to be with me you never talk to me like that again, ever!

Odin: Jason, ask him why he did it. Ask him!

Hugo: You won't ask me nothing. I did what I did, and that's all you need to know. From here on out, I say nothing.
