Beck: [speaking into a walkie talkie] Mr Hatcher, are you out there?

Hatcher: [presses reply button] What can I do for you, Mr. Beck?

Beck: I have no desire to fight with you or your men. For that reason you have two options. Option A, you leave the Gato and the girl, and you walk out of town no questions asked.

Hatcher: What's option B?

Beck: Option B? I make you.

[Silence. Then Hatcher starts laughing. Then his henchmen start laughing. Finally he presses the reply button so Beck can hear them laughing at him]

Beck: [slowly shakes head] Wrong choice.

[knocks out video camera]

Hatcher: Lock down the town.

Hatcher: That's a lot of cows.

Hatcher: I feel like a little boy who's lost his first tooth, put it under his pillow, waiting for the tooth-fairy to come. Only two evil burglars have crept in my window, and snatched it, before she could get here... Wait a second, do you understand the CONCEPT of the tooth-fairy? Explain it to them... Wait. She takes the god damned thing, and gives you a quarter. They've got my tooth. I want it back.

Hatcher: You're dead already. You just don't know it.

Harvey: [looking down the cliff] You think they're dead?

Hatcher: What am I, psychic?

Hatcher: I suppose now we have a conversation where you enlighten me. How many more of you are out there? Enlighten me. Where are the rest of your compadres? Enlighten me.

Hatcher: Mr. Beck... There's been a slight change in the narrative, an unexpected twist, you might say.

Hatcher: That's not the way to do business.

Hatcher: I want hunting parties. Small ones. Find them. Find them.

Hatcher: Don't rock the boat.

[after witnessing Beck beat up his henchmen]

Hatcher: Wow.

Hatcher: You reached into the wrong refrigerator, Mr. Beck.

Beck: I paid you.

Hatcher: Well, fortunately, I had my fingers crossed the whole time.

Hatcher: Don't make waves.

Hatcher: I promise, Tiger. I promise. I'll tell the Exchange.

Det. Thorn: You tell everybody. Listen to me, Hatcher. You've gotta tell them! Soylent Green is people! We've gotta stop them somehow!

Det. Thorn: [motions to chest] Like grapefruit.

Hatcher: [chuckles] You never saw a grapefruit.

Det. Thorn: You never saw her.

Hatcher: What's the story with the Simonson homicide?

Det. Thorn: It was carefully set up to make it look like he was killed after he caught some punk burglarizing his apartment.

Hatcher: What do you think it was?

Det. Thorn: It was an assassination. A well-planned assassination.

Hatcher: You know this for a fact?

Det. Thorn: Four reasons. One: the alarm system in the building was out of order for the first time in two years. Two: the bodyguard who was supposed to be protecting him was conveniently out shopping. Three: the punk that broke into the apartment didn't take anything. And four: the punk who killed Simonson was no punk because he used a meat hook instead of a gun to make it look like a punk.

Hatcher: Well, if the punk didn't take anything from the apartment, what did you take?

Det. Thorn: Everything I could lay my hands on.

Det. Thorn: Who bought you?

Hatcher: You're bought as soon as they pay you a salary.

Hatcher: So, you finally made it. Do you know what time it is?

Det. Thorn: You tell me. You're the only one here who has a wristwatch.

Hatcher: I can't. The damn thing won't run.

Det. Thorn: You know what, Lieutenant.

Hatcher: What?

Det. Thorn: [tossing back Hatcher's wristwatch] I think it really is broken this time.
