They've been searching ancient sites all around the world for clues. These hieroglyphs describe the specific set of powers greater than any man can possess.

Moira MacTaggert: Yes and no. They believe that he had the ability to transfer his consciousness from body to body and whenever he was close to death, he would just take on a new body. Some of these made with the bodies of mutants, enabling him to take their powers amassing various abilities over the years.

Moira MacTaggert: Exactly. And wherever this being was, he always had four principle followers, disciples, protectors he would imbue with powers.

Erik Lehnsherr: Because I was trying to save him. They took me out before I could.

[Charles reads Logan's mind, and appears in the future]

Professor X: Charles.

[trying to calm a disoriented Logan]

Charles Xavier: He's being held hundred floors under the most heavily guarded building on the planet.

Logan: Why is he in there?

Charles Xavier: Oh, he forgot to mention you?

[laughs]

Hank McCoy: [whispers to Logan] Uh, JFK.

Logan: [surprised] He killed...?

Charles Xavier: How else would you explain a bullet miraculously curving through the air? Erik always had his way with guns.

Erik Lehnsherr: How did you lose them?

Charles Xavier: The treatment for my spine affects my DNA.

Erik Lehnsherr: You sacrificed your powers so you could walk?

Charles Xavier: I sacrificed my powers so that I could sleep!... What do you know about it?

Erik Lehnsherr: I've lost my fair share.

[the plane's controls start to freeze up and dive]

Hank McCoy: [at the controls] Erik!

[the plane steadies]

Erik Lehnsherr: You abandoned us ALL!

[Charles appears just as Raven points a gun at Trask]

Logan: Fair enough.

Hank McCoy: The power's back on.

[Charles has communicated with his older self]

Logan: Whatever happens from now, promise me one thing. Storm, Scott, Jean... you'll look out for these names and protect them.

Logan: We're gonna need Magneto...

Charles Xavier: [to Raven/Mystique] I'm going to keep you safe. I'm going to keep you out of their hands.

[Erik uses his power to draw a gun to his hand which he aims at Raven]

Raven: Erik?

Charles Xavier: Erik... what are you doing?

Erik Lehnsherr: Securing our future. Forgive me, Mystique. As long as you're out there, we'll never be safe.

Hank McCoy: Erik...

Raven: Use your power, Charles. Stop him.

Charles Xavier: I...

Raven: He can't.

[She flees. Hank dives at Erik causing him to release the gun, but he uses his powers to pull the trigger anyway. She leaps out the window, but Erik curves the bullet's trajectory to hit her in the right calf, embedding it there]

[deleted scene]

Charles Xavier: [to Raven] You'd be giving Trask exactly what he wants, a reason for humanity to fear and hate us...

Raven: You think they need a reason?

[turns blue]

Raven: Do you honestly think they'll ever be able to see me like this, and feel anything but fear? YOU can't even look at me!

Logan: If you had your powers you'd know I was telling the truth.

Charles Xavier: How do you know I don't have...

[pause]

Charles Xavier: Who are you?

Logan: I told you.

Charles Xavier: Are you CIA?

Logan: No.

Charles Xavier: Have you been watching me?

[Charles stumbles and grabs his head]

Logan: You okay?

Charles Xavier: [points at his legs] When this goes... this comes back!

[Hank gets Charles to his wheelchair]

Hank McCoy: Are you sure about this?

Charles Xavier: Absolutely not.

Logan: [sees young Xavier for the first time] You can walk?

Charles Xavier: Aren't you the clever one.

Charles Xavier: You must think me so foolish. We've always said they would come after us.

Erik Lehnsherr: I never imagined they'd use Raven's DNA to do it.

[during the credits]

[as Logan checks into an airport, he notices metallic items levitating. Suddenly, he is frozen and is confronted by Magneto]

Logan: What do you want?

Magneto: There are dark forces, Logan. Human forces building a weapon that could bring about the end of our kind. What do I want? I want your help.

Logan: Why would I trust you?

Magneto: You wouldn't.

[Magneto releases Logan. Logan sees that everyone around him is frozen]

Charles Xavier: [wheels up] Hello, Logan.

Logan: How is this possible?

Charles Xavier: As I told you a long time ago, you are not the only one with gifts.

[first lines]

Charles Xavier: Mother. What are you... I thought you were a burglar.

Mrs. Xavier: I didn't mean to scare you, darling. I was just getting a snack. Go back to bed. What's the matter? Go on, back to bed.I, I'll make you a hot chocolate.

Charles Xavier: Who are you? And what have you done with my mother?

Charles Xavier: [telepathically in her mind] My mother has never set foot in this kitchen in her life. And she certainly never made me a hot chocolate, unless you count ordering the maid to do it.

[Mrs Xavier nervously changes into a scared blue-skinned girl]

Young Raven: You're not... scared of me?

Charles Xavier: I always knew I couldn't be the only one in the world. The only one who was different. And here you are. Charles Xavier.

[takes her hand]
